UONGOZI Institute Annual Report 2019
UONGOZI Institute is a government agency established by the Government of Tanzania and supported by the Government of Finland. ‘Uongozi’ means leadership in Kiswahili, and their core purpose is inspiring and strengthening leadership. The institute is dediFFcated to supporting African leaders to attain sustainable development for their nations and for Africa as a continent at large.
I was approached to come up with the publication layout design for their Annual Report 2018/19. The aim was to communicate and keep it neat by using imagery, infographics and spaced out copy whilst maintaining their corporate look. A challenge I faced while working on this project was ensuring that all submitted content fit reasonably within the page range, as per the client's request. Nonetheless, this was an exciting project to work on and the stipulated deliverables were met. Both client and designer enjoyed the process!
